ROS ALTMANN: Money printing has forced over-50s to cut spending and damaged the economy - the BoE must recognise that
A report today claims that QE has forced the over-50s to cut back on spending, which has thumped the economy. The Bank of England has dismissed the claim as 'nonsense'. Saga director-general Ros Altmann hits back.
