Kanaan: FP2 will be like qualifying

Tony Kanaan expects this weekend's second IndyCar Series practice session at Iowa Speedway to become a de facto qualifying battle due to its role in establishing the allocations for the qualifying heat races. Drivers will be allocated places in the heats based on their practice times in the second session, with the eight fastest drivers earning the right to race for pole in the third and final heat race.
